One of my work projects(as in real work) for the last year has been related to GPS tracking of vehicles. One much nicer application of this technology is a project we’re currently doing in a cooperation with the organization behind Sea Challenge Fyn(SCF).
SCF is a week long kayak and rowing competition around the island Funen. Some 20 GPS-devices are placed on participants and helpers to facilitate a live feed of the race. For now it’s all just for fun and safety reasons.

Total unrelated: In a couple of days I’m off to Sweden to pick up my new shining red Qaanaaq SS and hopefully paddle a couple days in the archipelago. Oorah, Oorah!
