Rolling Jam

Some weeks ago Jannie from my sea kayak club, Esben from my K1 club and I got together for shooting some rolling videos. We used the SS and a Silhouette for the fun.
During the editing phase a considerable amount of time was spent discussing what music to use. Elastica was the compromise. The world will have to wait for my ATR ~ kayak video.



On a related note I bought the Rockpool Underground Prototype from Freya last week.

More on that after Tour de Gudenå.

    :) deal – though it’s not likely. The prototype gets quite frequently used for rolling practice these winter days.

    Peter, very nice boat! Tahe Marine is now offering something similar, the Greenland.

    I have not yet paddled such boats. Their volume is very low. Nice for rolling, but for what else? Doesn’t ‘underground’ rather stand for ‘submarine’ as soon as waves get higher than half a meter?

    Hi,

    The Tahe Marine Greenland is a dream for rolling.. I tested it a few weeks a go at the kayakcenter in Holland (www.kajak.nl)and orderd one strait away! I would say that it’s eaven better than the Water Field Qaanaaq. Hopefully I will recive my Greenland in a few days :D :D

    Hi

    I recently had a short test paddle in the Tahe Greenland and it’s quite a nice little kayak. Not as spiffy as the Q SS but the Greenland will definitely attract a wider range of paddlers. I could even see paddlers using the Greenland for overnight trips.

    Peter, Yes I also thing it’s possible to do longer trips. When the weather alows it I’m planning a trip for maybe a week or more. I’m expecting that I will have enough space left for even more stuff :P . I also think it will be quit fast, it’s longer than the Qaanaaq so there will be a big differences! And it’s really cheap to!! If bought mine for just €1450. I will keep you informed :)

    A few days ago I revieved my Tahe Marine Greenland!!! :D :D
